These metal rings are way better than the original plastic rings. The plastic rings shattered when it was sub freezing cold and windy.
Only took a few minutes to change to the metal ones and had my American flag back up and flying proud.

I mounted the rings on a piece of 3/4 plastic electrical conduit, tightened down the set-screws provided, and it works perfectly. The attaching clips revolve around the pole so the flag stays untangled. 5 stars at least!

My husband asked me to order these replacement flag rings because the ones that came with the flag pole had deteriorated and cracked over time due to the elements. Since the day he put these on, he has commented to me how much he loves these! With the old rings, the flag used to wrap itself around the pole (hanging off the front porch) several times a day and it would drive him nuts unwrapping it constantly. These rings spin so the flag NEVER wraps around the pole - even on super windy days. Had we known how much we would love them, we would have ordered them a long time ago. Very happy with our purchase. Time will tell how long they hold up. But, so far, so GREAT!

I bought this to replace the plastic parts on my flagpole which had deteriorated due to sun exposure.
These fit fine on my pole and are much freer moving than the plastic ones. We have had some high winds lately that always caused my flag to wrap around the pole, so far none with these.
The hooks are a little small, at least for my flag, but I got it on and am very happy

These rings are easy to use if you can take off the tip of your pole or slip them up from the bottom. I have saved lots of $$$$$ on flags because they no longer rip or tear being wrapped around the pole. Great product.

Ordered these and found they are much more sturdy and made of aluminum!
Have not had issues with them and once in awhile I spray silicone on them to help them move.
Recommend if the your flag pole rings are not working properly.
