I require a flag pole that is taller than the standard height to prevent my flag from colliding with my roof gutters. This pole has proven to be an excellent choice. The carbon fiber material has held up remarkably well during a recent strong wind storm. I highly recommend it.

The pole is great went together smoothly. It came with the standard black ball for a topper which is normally fine. I wanted to put a gilded eagle on top and the is not one made for this. I did find one with a hollow base no threads. It fit over the threads for the ball well. I put a bit of electricians tape on the threads just to make a little tighter fit. Mounted my eagle, drilled a pilot hole for the mounting screw and put it all together. Looks good. When I called about finding an Eagle Hible offered to send me a non threaded section to mount an eagle on it. I waited until I had the eagle to see how it fit and did not need another non threaded pole. Over all I am very pleased with the product and more that pleased with the customer service I received from the company. Now if someone made an Eagle topper that would thread on .

If you set the collars with too much tension they won’t be able to rotate and the flag will tangle very easily. I re-adjusted them and gave it plenty of slack, and it has never tangled since. It’s held up just fine so far to the strong Montana winds.

We've owned several flagpoles and have had various problems. The obvious, flag wrapped around the pole. Second; the aluminum poles can't tolerate high winds with our bending and had one break at the connection to the holder.
The strength of this flagpole along with the flagpole attachments with the bearings, are dang near flawless. The only issue was one of the bearing attachments failed and Hible took care of the problem immediately.
Great product with great customer service. Can't beat that.
If your in the market for a flagpole or thinking about getting, look no further this is the one you need.

I love it. It is holding up with the wind we have here in Colorado. The adjustment of the angle of the pole. Straight out or at an angle is nice depending on the flag. . It has a wing nut screws in so the wind does not drop the pole as it wiggles out with the force of the wind. Easy to tighten. My American flag looks great. Easy to change out my collection of flags. You can take out a section to adjust the length of the flag pole by taking a second off the end and storing it in the drawer if you want to change it later. Great buy. Sturdy pole

It wasn’t till recently I researched and discovered this product and although, pricey, upon installation, I’ve been thrilled with it. Assembly is very easy. Pole is rigid. Someday I’ll find a product exactly like this, but with a pole that is one contiguous piece, …but I dream. The look, the assembly, the design of its non-tangle connections to the flag has done it for me.

We have three of these poles. The sections make it easy for us to fly our American flag at the highest point while flying our state flag along side of it at slightly below that level. They have withstood some good wind storms without any consequence whatsoever.

So many flag poles are 5 feet in length, this one being 8 feet long was what I was after and this company had it to offer. The best part about it is I can still make it shorter if necessary due to the design being pipes that screw together. It's also strong enough to withstand some tough winds with my flat attached.

I spent the big bucks purchasing this flag pole in hopes it would move my 3'x5' flag far enough from the overhang top prevent scuffing. It does a fine job of that! We live in an area where 30-40+ mph winds are not uncommon, so strength/durability are necessary as well. Of course the winds haven't been over 25 mph since we installed it, but as I said in the intro...so far, so good.
The reason for only 4 stars is that the pole is so slick that it refuses to remain in the flag pole mount. I tightened the thumbscrew as tight as I could by hand, then gave it about 1/8th turn with pliers and it still came out within a few days. I was concerned that if the thumb screw was tightened further, the pole might be damaged. I solved the problem by drilling a hole through the mount and the pole and installing a bolt through both of them to hold the flag pole in. That's worked fine for a few weeks.

I put the flagpole up on the windiest day of the month, put flag on it, made one minor adjustment, and the flag flew high and proud for 36 hours without getting tangled.

This flag pole does what it says but what you have to remember is if you stretch the grommets of the flag out on the pole until it is tight the flag will still wrap around the pole cause it doesn't allow for the rings to spin but if you stretch it out then back off an inch or two so you have a slight sag between the grommets then it spins freely.

I love the look and feel of the pole! It’s super easy to put together. You just have to screw in some rods (1 foot in length per rod) to get the full 8 feet. It’s super strong and durable but I would suggest if you do plan to have it carry a flag on the back of your car, I couldn’t go over 45-50 mph unless you have some wire or rope securing it to your roof racks. Bc that’s a lot of tension. Anyway, all in all I would totally purchase again.

This flag pole is absolutely the best pole I have had in the past 40 years. It withstood high winds and allowed my flag to freely spin around the pole with out wrapping or snagging the flag in any way. When one of the flag pole rings developed minor rust that prevented smooth spinning I contacted their customer service and received a response within minutes. After explaining the issue in detail and submitting a picture, my replacement ring was immediately shipped out. Their service rep was understand, helpful, and the most professional and efficient person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My only regret is that I can only give them a 5 star rating because it should be 10 STARS !!!!!!!
