I have a one inch flag pole and I ordered the larger size to make sure they would fit. As it turns out, they do fit but I could've ordered the smaller ones instead. I had plastic replacement rings and they cracked and broke after just one year. These seem very durable and seem to keep the flag from tangling much better than the old plastic ones which seemed to bind and tangle the flag in the wind.

Theses things work so well I don’t believe it. The flag moves so effortlessly that it hasn’t tangled in more than a week. They are definitely worth buying if you want your flag to float in the wind.

If you have a heavy flag these are the best mounting rings that I have ever seen. They are also on roller bearings so the flag does not get tangled easily.

This purchase allowed me to hang a flag with two metal sewn eyelets. The clips completely lock my flag to the pole and allow the flag to spin (without binding) on the pole. The clips are attached to rings that are set screw attached firmly to the pole! This set allows me to mount and display the best type US Flag I have ever used. Love it!

I have my flag pole mounted on the side of my house, so the flag has a tendency to wind on the pole on windy days. The Flag Pole Rings seem to help.

The flagpole rings I have tried. This was my fourth attempt for quality and quiet operation. No other could compete. I live in a high wind area and they work great!!!

Ordered a set for each of my six foot 1"d carbon flagpoles. Pleasantly surprised how the short brackets don't clang against the pole.
1. The Allen wrenches and extra set screws are small so I keep them in an old pill bottle.
2. Mount on pole so large set screws are away from flag.
3. If it starts making noise, apply Lithium Grease (gap is small so I use the tip of a plastic straw cut diagonally.)

I doubled up by using a pole that twists freely and I used these devices to ensure that my flag did not wrap around the pole. I did lubricate them before putting them up and I used locktite on the grub screws to ensure they will not come out easily.

If you have a problem with it sticking get yourself some white grease that is heat resistant and water resistant push it into the grooves real well all the way around it wipe off all the excess on the outside spin it a few times and there you go you will never have it twist up on you on the flagpole again works very well for me thank you
